PSC Masters Hockey Carnival - UPDATE !
This tournament is organised by PSC for players 50 years and above and they have extended invitation to only 3 clubs, SCC, RSC and Club 30-50 Ipoh. It will be held on the morning of Saturday, 8th May 2010 at the PSC grounds. It is an 11 a side tournament.
The format of competition is a round robin format and each game played is 20 minutes. The tournament will finish by noon. Thereafter, all teams will be treated to a BBQ lunch at the terrace of the club premises. Ladies are allowed to participate.
As the tournament is a half day affair and starts in the morning, the team will need to travel on Friday evening latest. Thus it was proposed that we hire an air cond Coach/Bus so that all can travel together. Accomodation will be arranged for Friday and Saturday. We leave Penang on Sunday morning after breakfast. Players who wish to bring their families can do so but the cost of accomodation will be pro-rata. Supporters are most welcome !!
Please confirm early so that it will easy for us to make the necessary arrangements like accomodation and the booking of the Coach/Bus.

GRASS HOCKEY ANYONE ?
All section members are advised to turn up at the RSC Kiara field this Saturday, 17 April 5.30 pm for a game of hockey on grass. Its been a while since we polished up our skills on a pitch where we first started to hold our hockey sticks. Also with our annual RSC 9's just about 3 months away, we should get more used to the grass pitch and hope that we will be able to once again emerge as Champions of our own tournament. This will be a good workout for the seniors too who will be participating in the coming PSC Masters Cup next month in Penang. Hope to see most of you there this Saturday.

RSC vs Aquinas College Hockey Match
DOWN MEMORY LANE
The match between RSC vs MH Aircrew was a memorable one as 3 of our members Alex, KC & Jonathan was also part of the Aircrew team. After an evenly contested first half, the more experienced RSC side with former internationals Colin Sta Maria, Stephen Van Huizen and others swept aside the Aircrew side with their silky skills to end up 5-3 winners. More importantly was the after match party with Aircrew Hockey Club having brought their own mobile music machine and in-house DJ Taran. There were also the exchanging of souvenirs between both clubs and we hope that this will continue to be a yearly affair in our fixtures.
