Hockey Section AGM - 9th April 2021

It’s the time of year again to reflect on the achievements, disappointments and challenges of the year gone by, and to elect a new incoming committee to lead and serve the section.

 As the members peruse the annual report, it was clear that despite the challenges of 2020, a new energy has emerged from the hockey section.

 The revival of grass hockey at RSC Kiara and the camaraderie of veteran, young, old and new members of the section in the recent months is clear sign that the section is moving in the right direction.

 This was also evident in the fantastic turnout for the AGM in support of the hockey section committee, the highest number of attendees in recent years.

A huge thanks and appreciation to the outgoing committee comprising of Siva, James Andrew, Kapaay and Dato Poon, led by Simon See (who again was re-elected as Convenor for the next term) for a fantastic job done under the most trying circumstances last year. 

Ideas were again shared during the AGM, and the new incoming committee was urged to keep the momentum going and to organise more activities for the section members.
