On a very hot Sunday afternoon, Malaysia slugged it out with Korea on the blue pitch at Stadium Azlan Shah, Ipoh in the 5th/6th Placing classification match.

The much faster Koreans outran and outplayed our Malaysian boys and we succumbed 2-3, despite the late fight back and a barrage of attacks in the Korean "D".
