Our first hockey game for 2013!

8 January 2013, Tuesday, 7.00pm, Tun Razak Stadium – Our first hockey game for 2013!

It was a mixture of regular players, players making a come-back, rarely seen players... and players that welcomed 2013 with a new look!

Playing against one of our regular (and much younger) opponents - MISC, the Dogs (or rather, the ‘old’ dogs) huffed and puffed along most of the game from the starting whistle and the game ended with an unfavourable score to RSC.

It was obvious that most, if not all, the players have had a ‘prosperous’ Christmas and New Year!

Nonetheless, it was a good run for the boys and a nice start for 2013. We look forward to having more section members join us for the weekly sessions (every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00pm at Tun Razak Stadium).

2012 coming to an end...

Yes, another year is almost over. Another year older. A split second slower. A couple of minutes of stamina lesser. A few kilos heavier (at least, some of us!)...

It has been another eventful year for the hockey section, but sadly we could not make it for some of the planned tournaments due to lack of committed players. Maybe this is something we need to look into and see how we can widen our circle of active playing members.

The final weekly hockey session for the year at Tun Razak Stadium will be tomorrow, 20 Dec 2012, 7pm. Hope to see more faces there!

Argentina Hockey Champions Challenge 1

Our Malaysian national hockey team is currently participating in the Argentina Hockey Champions Challenge 1 in Quilmes, Argentina.

The winner of the event will gain automatic qualification for the next edition of the men’s Champions Trophy
